Adding Essential Oils To Your Daily Routine
In my home, diffusing is my favorite way to enjoy my oils, inhaling aromas from essential oils stimulates areas of your limbic system, which is a part of your brain that plays a role in emotions, behaviors, sense of smell, and long-term memory.
In addition to diffusing, creating my own blends in rollerballs with different oils and fractionated coconut oil allows me to take the “ritual” with me wherever I go! Whether rolling on my neck, or on my wrists, all it takes is a few deep breaths to really ground me! While waiting at traffic lights or as I’m getting out of my car to head into work, this simple experience changes my frame of mind immediately!
Here’s a simple recipe for my 10ml Calm Energy Rollerball:
10 drops of RELAX Blend Essential Oil from Serene House
Top with fractionated coconut oil
(There are tons of rollerball options on Amazon, just make sure to use only dark-colored glass.. essential oils are very sensitive to light!)
When we were looking for an essential oil line to bring into our retail stores, we wanted quality and affordability. When we found Serene House, they were a great fit for us! All of the essential oils from Serene House are 100% pure and bottled in the USA. They are produced using plant-friendly methods with chemical-free pest controls and fertilizers. We LOVE the blends they offer in their line, along with their single note oils.
As far as scents, floral oils tend to calm, citrus oils tend to invigorate and by blending oils you can create endless options. Here are a few of our favorite blends.
RELAX (Calming & Relaxing) A soothing herbal aroma, featuring aromatic lavender with mandarin green, honey and cardamom. It's the perfect combination to enhance warmth and relaxation
REFRESH (Centering & Cheering) A crisp, bright aroma featuring lemon, lime, lemongrass, rosemary and linaloe wood. This combination boosts energy and energizes the soul.
- EXHALE (Restoring & Clarifying) A clean and invigorating blend with Peppermint, Orange, Eucalyptus and Ravintsara. This is a perfect recipe to help with focus and calming.
We would love to hear about your favorite essential oil blends and single note fragrances. Please share your suggestions on how you use them in your home and with your families.
